I have connection with TFS 2015. There are couple of build plans - all configured with new (non-XAML) approach.

For some reason Catlight system tray icon is always transparent and doesn't turn green or red. Though I get all notifications (start/success/fail)

I have just installed Catlight on my Windows 7 Sp1 (latest windows updated) corporate desktop. I get a blue screen saying "Cannot start the application". The logs say the following. What do I need to do to get this working?:

Hi, Catlight crashed while I was not in work. Don't know how to reproduce this problem.

I connect CatLight to my Jenkins using authentication with API token.

CatLight knows all the project statuses and any other information, which is good.

But I never get any notifications. The icon color also never changes.

My Jenkins version is 1.653.1. CatLight version is 1.8.7.

Im using the latest version.Setup with jenkins, all works fine except when I click on the builds, it opens localhost url instead of xyz.com:8080

What can be the cause of that?

I am devops for our organisation. I am testing Catlight (v1.8.7 Beta) on Windows 7 to see if it could be used by our developers.

It installs fine and functions (with a Jenkins connection) initially. However, after a short period the dashboard becomes unresponsive and Catlight crashes out.

Looking at the logs and Windows Task Manager, the problem occurs when Catlight begins "Checking for updates". After this point there are repeated connection errors of the form:

I am running a machine with Windows 8 and I was not able to successfully install Catlight.

Is Catlight compatible with Windows 8 or do I have to have Windows 10 in order to download it?

https://catlight.io/ is currently facing some problems.

Because of that Catlight application crashes when it tries to connect to www.catlight.io and receives a 522 error.

Log:

CatLight automatically checks for updates from time to time. When network connection is absent, or application cannot connect to online service, update check fails. Error message should be logged in this situation. There is a bug in logging code for this rare type of messages that starts a recursive logging cycle. After that, application consumes up to 1.2 Gb memory and then terminates.

This problem should be fixed in v2.0 that is scheduled to be available in several weeks. 

 Meanwhile, you can just restart the application after that happens.

Hi, we have multiple jenkins server running jobs with the same name.

Example: Server01 has jobs JobA, JobB and JobC Server02 has jobs JobA, JobB and JobC

For the setup of catlight we first configured Server01, then Server02. Both to monitor those jobs.

Now when clicking on a job for Server02, we will be redirected to the jenkins build page of Server01. When adding a third server, Server03, with the same jobs, these will also redirect to Server01.

When I have Branch Specification enabled on the build e.g.:

+:refs/heads/* +:refs/pull/(*)/head

It does not pick those builds up, while the Default branch builds are being reflected correctly.

Not sure if this happens for other CI servers too, but for Team City builds are organized in alphabetical manner. As I have some projects with sub-projects, I end up with related builds quite distant. I can work around this by prefixing Team City builds for sub projects, so they have common prefix, that should keep them together, though it seems to me this could be automated for better/easier organization.

We use Jenkins folders to represent branch builds of our source.  Inside each branch, there can be multiple produts and each product can have several jenkins jobs.    In order to have a single page where we can list all the builds for a particular product, we use Jenkins Views - which are configured using a regex to dynamically pickup new jobs for new branches.

Cat light however is puking with "An item with the same key has already been added " when we use the URL of the View page - presumably because it is getting confused due to duplicate

When I tried to connect CatLight to my Jenkins server, I got this error in the log:

Now I can only mark one at a time. Once I select "I will investigate" on the second build, the first one is unselected automatically.

Don't update status of task bar. Version of CatLight - 2.1.3 Beta.

All my builds - success, but status of tas bar is red.
