I'd want to be notified of a complete build failure but not necessarily a partial one because it might be a while before it's fixed, which means every build will trigger a notification and become simply noise. I would want a notification when build quality worsens, though.

1. Click the 'I will investigate' button on a broken build

2. Exit CatLight

3. Open CatLight - the 'Stop Investigating' button is not visible and the name of the person investigating is still there

Between closing and opening CatLight again the offending build is now queued (there is a green arrow in the final spot). I would have expected the investigating person to removed and replaced by just the person's name - it still says "A N other is investigating' - should it just say 'A N Other'

There is a paid version due towards the end of this year.

1. Can you tell me what constitutes a big enough development team to be deemed required to pay.

2. If a company is categorized as 'bigger' and has downloaded CatLight for use in its team, what will happen to that software. Will it just be come unsupported and disallowed from updates/fixes?

CatLight stops working after some time without explicit error. It usually takes less than 10 minutes to stop after I started it. I checked the log and I found that :

I'm using Windows Virtual Desktop to organize the browser, IDE, etc... in to different windows.

Say I have an IDE for coding on desktop #1, and a browser for doc reference on desktop #2.

Without CatLight, I can switch between #1 and #2 with Win+Tab+LButton / Win+ArrowButton easily and continue typing at where I left. No need to use mouse to re-pick the window.

But when CatLight is open, it gain focus after all desktop switches, I have to re-pick through mouse-click or Alt+Tab, which is much slow.

Embrava Connect is a small device which can be connected through USB. It ships with a small SDK. The cool part is that it has a full RGB light and optionally a little speaker which can be used as a build notification light. The SDK is available for .NET.

Would be great if either:

 * Catlight would provide direct integration with Embrava Connect

 * Catlight would offer an extension API which would allow us to react on status changes

Opening CatLight today, it shows `System.OutOfMemoryException` in the dashboard.

It has been running for a few days, so there's probably a memory leak in there somewhere.

Running on OSX (El Capitan)

Every few minutes (I assume on the refresh schedule) the Catlight logo / app launches onto the Dock.

Apart from the bouncing in the Dock being a bit annoying, it often steals focus which is also "quite" frustrating.

Due to company restrictions, I currently have the fun of needing to use a separate account with elevated permissions to develop.

I have tried adding my separate login under the "provide credentials" option, but it still appears to be using my primary windows login.

I know this because my development login has permissions on the full collection, where as I have only got 2 projects under my primary account.

The following is what the log file shows, starting with CredentialsType: "Password", if I then go into the settings again, the Auto Configure is checked, unchecking does show my development account entered

Is it me or is the catlight icon very similar to that of github? This is especially true when its a small icon in the taskbar.

I am seeing queued builds above some running builds. I thought running builds were supposed to be on top of the list?

I only just installed CatLight, so this was never working for me. I get notifications for started builds and successful builds, just not failed builds, which are the only notifications I truly care about. I'm using Travis for Open Source. My notification settings are set to show for all builds, and when builds start, succeed, and fail.

Edit: I had also set CatLight to poll every five seconds for the sake of testing.

Hey there, we thought we would try Catlight and have been really enjoying it. We have noticed though that out of 10 builds that we monitor, 1 isn't relaying any information. It has a grety question mark next to it, and the spot where it should say who and when the last build was, has "None".

I connected CatLight to Travis-CI Pro, but I don't see any builds. Maybe it's because I have a student account?

I hope we can fix that :)

When a connection is added I can choose builds displayed.

I don't see how to change them later.  In previous versions, I could to it in the settings.
