Work item status tracking

CatLight can now track work items in TFS 2015 and VSTS. You can select an existing query and choose a tracking mode:

• Show all - use this for queries that should return empty result when everything is ok, and for queues of short-term work. For example: "Important open bugs", "Urgent tasks", "Bugs to verify today".
• Show changes - use this to track changes in long-term queues of work, like "My tasks", "Backlog", "Recent bugs".

Hi, we have multiple jenkins server running jobs with the same name.

Example: Server01 has jobs JobA, JobB and JobC Server02 has jobs JobA, JobB and JobC

For the setup of catlight we first configured Server01, then Server02. Both to monitor those jobs.

Now when clicking on a job for Server02, we will be redirected to the jenkins build page of Server01. When adding a third server, Server03, with the same jobs, these will also redirect to Server01.

I love having catlight but wonder if dev on it is dead?

Add tool tips on light bank so when you hover over each light it tells you the build info. could include name of contributor that caused the build, build label, name or number and time.

CatLight automatically checks for updates from time to time. When network connection is absent, or application cannot connect to online service, update check fails. Error message should be logged in this situation. There is a bug in logging code for this rare type of messages that starts a recursive logging cycle. After that, application consumes up to 1.2 Gb memory and then terminates.

This problem should be fixed in v2.0 that is scheduled to be available in several weeks. 

 Meanwhile, you can just restart the application after that happens.

Today CatLight prompted me to re-init my TFS connection which is for a Visual Studio Online account. When I click Save on the TFS connection settings screen, it opens a page in my browser to authorize CatLight. When I click Accept, I get this message (base URL obfuscated on purpose):

After having Catlight running for a while, I'm getting a ton of toast.exe processes in task manager.

Anyone know why they are there, and how to stop them?

I am running a machine with Windows 8 and I was not able to successfully install Catlight.

Is Catlight compatible with Windows 8 or do I have to have Windows 10 in order to download it?

When a build is running it changes the tick to a green arrow - this nice but does not stand out visually compared to the green tick.

Perhaps change the background colour of a running build to green or blue perhaps?

It would be great if projects are added and removed automatically.

I've got some jobs in jenkins which are created and deleted automatically (for pull-requests). It would be great if they can be shown in catlight automatically.

Regarding automatic jobs as mentioned above:

• There should be some kind of regex to decide which are shown automatically (like the jobs in the listview in jenkins)
• The automatic addition should be turned off/on manually. 

I have some Projects that only have the status FAILED or WARNING. They never hav status SUCCEEDED.

I would like this projects not to turn my CatLight DashboardIcon to yellow. My only workaround  at the current point is to remove my project from the Dashboard or doen't use the color of the Icon.

Maybe I could projects to be ignored when checking if DashboardStatus is WARNING or SUCCEEDED.

when trying to connect it to my Jenkins server.  Jenkins ver. 1.625.3

I can add it as a exception, but all users might not understand how, and just give up.

Just installed your app and it looks really good. Far better than the MS monitor for TFS 2013 which just doesn't work.

When connected to TFS, and I dont select any build. I get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

For some reason my settings were gone but the message where thrown. After searching I find out it was because no builds were selected anymore.
