Connection Problem Azure DevOps Services

Hello,

Our organisation currently has some issues with CatLight, where CatLight cannot establish a connection to Azure DevOps Services.

Background ist, that we recently migrated to Azure DevOps Services. We installed in the migrated DevOps Organisation the CatLight Extension. When trying to Login using CatLight, our developers get the OAuth Authorization form to give Consent to CatLight. But then they get a similair error to this.

Currently our users are circumventing this by using the PAT login. But this leads to high API Usage. Normally CatLight would use Service hooks.

How can this be fixed?

Azure DevOps - Receiving status code 400 during server connection re-authentication

Upon my connection to Azure DevOps expiring/being marked by the app as "needs configuration", I attempt to review and fix by configuring the existing connection. Upon re-authenticating, I receive a status code 400:

I have also tried to delete the connection from the desktop app and re-add it, but I encounter the same issue.

Approval checks

It would be nice to also see pipelines which require an approval form a person or a team. For example, under pipelines we have multiple environments. For dev/test/acceptance and production. For production we have added an approval check before continuing. So it needs an approval to continue to production. It would be nice to also see that popup in Catlight.

Better Support for Azure YAML Pipelines

For Azure Devops YAML pipelines, I am not getting notified of stage changes or stage approvals. We do not use release pipelines (considered "Classic" by Azure), but instead use YAML pipelines for all stages of our release cycle.

Hi,

I have just downloaded CatLight in the last couple of days, primarily to monitor our build pipelines in Azure DevOps, but I can see that it will bring benefit for our current DevOps work items, and also for Jira us in the future,

It looks great so far from the first couple of days of the trial, but I have a major problem. It seems to lose connectivity to our DevOps pipelines and my Dashboard just doesnt show anything in there any more, even though I can still see thigs set up correctly in "Settings".

I am hoping to roll it out to 20 users if everything goes OK, but this would be a blocker to us moving ahead if it is something that cannot be resolved.

Oh, and I also installed the CatLight extension in Azure DevOps.

Hello There,

I just installed CatLight and logged in with my azure account. When I try to set up to monitor my working items, I can see only one project under my organization in the work items. Builds looks okay in this regard, so this effects work items only.

dashboard has empty squares instead of regular build icons

Sometimes the dashboard shows empty squares for the builds, instead of the usual crosses and squares for failed an successful builds.

I have workaround: If I go to the settings and then go back the icons are back. But it would be nice to not need the workaround.

passed builds don't show up

I have v3.7.3 on my mac and only the failed builds are visible. passed builds are hidden which leaves the dashboard completely empty. I've been CatLight for ages but never seen this before and I can't switch it off.

I would like to see a feature where I can assign build errors to other people on my team to investigate. Many times, there are broken build where I am not investigating, but I need someone else in my team to investigate.

I hope you're doing well. I’ve been using Catlight Free, and I really appreciate the work you’ve put into it—it’s been incredibly useful for me.

I noticed that currently, Catlight offers monthly and one-time purchase options, but I was wondering if you have any plans to introduce an option to purchase an annual license via PayPal. It would be a great convenience for users who prefer PayPal for transactions and those looking for a longer-term licensing option.

Jira does not show anything after connection

CatLight uses Jira API to get the list of filters. According to Jira API docs, only the following filters will be displayed:

filters owned by the user.
filters shared with a group that the user is a member of.
filters shared with a private project that the user has Browse projects project permission for.
filters shared with a public project.
filters shared with the public.

If you don't see any Jira filters in CatLight monitoring settings, try saving a new filter in Jira. You will be its owner, and it should be displayed afterward.

CatLight 3.7 - July service pack

Option to completely ignore a build

Sometimes a build on a branch is broken and its never going to be fixed. The branch may even have been removed. It would be helpful to be able to completely remove these builds from Catlight so the status shown accurately reflects things that we care about.
