Multiple CatLight icons for Windows taskbar

Recent CatLight updates seem to have registered themselves as unique new entries in the list of icons which can appear on the taskbar.

The installer that we use, puts every new version of the app into a separate folder. That means, that the location of executable changes on every upgrade. Some windows components identify the application by path, so old versions of the app can be seen as separate apps in some places, especially, if there was a problem with cleanup during the upgrade.

Can you check the folder "%localappdata%\CatLight"? There should be only one version of app-* folder. If there are multiple, you can delete old app-* folders, and that would likely clear up the icon list.

There is only one version of the app folder.

The main concern isn't cleaning up the icons, it's having to set the notification tray visibility each time. What good is a light -- cat or otherwise -- if it's not where you can see it? My setup instructions to the team include setting it as always visible in the tray. It's not good to have it disappear post-update.

The app should make itself visible in tray, even after update. What version of Windows do you have? Maybe this function no longer works on certain versions of OS.

I have Windows 10 Enterprise 1803 Build 17134.590.

The installer puts it in the tray but not set to "always visible".
