Minimize to system tray

It would be nice to minimize main window to system tray. Now is main window always visible in the task bar.

Unless, I fully exit the application, it remains in taskbar regardless of whether I minimize or click the X. It is not pinned.

Strange, hiding to tray works fine on different Windows versions on several test computers with that we have.

Do you have 32 or 64 bit OS ?

Do you have a space in your windows user name?

Do you use some taskbar tweaker that could interfere?

No to all but the last; I use Actual Multiple Monitors software. However you implemented the minimize to tray, it doesn't behave like any of the other apps which do it, like Skype, Outlook, SnagIt, etc.

Hi Bim,

In latest version, minimizing/closing the window should remove it from task bar an leave it in tray only. What is the version of your operating system and what is the version of Catlight app that you use?

I'm using 1.8.7 Beta on Windows 10 and it does not remove from taskbar when minimized.

You can try closing the window, it should have the same effect - minimizing to tray.

Also, make sure that the app is not pinned in the taskbar.
