CatLight cannot start on OSX 10.13 (high sierra)

OS is MacOS 10.13 (high sierra)

When running catlight i get a blank screen and an error that localweb has crashed
running localweb from terminal i get the following logs

Initializing logging. path: /Applications/Catlight.app/Contents/Resources/LocalWeb/wwwroot
OS: 'Mac'
AppData path: '/Users/oranshus'
Initialized logging.
Hosting environment: Production
Content root path: /Applications/Catlight.app/Contents/Resources/LocalWeb

We identified the problem. Mac OS 10.13 had a breaking change, so our version of .Net core can no longer run on it. 

We'll post an update when this problem is solved.

Can you send us the logs to [email protected] ?

They are located at:

~/Library/Application Support/Catlight/logs

This is a hidden folder, but you can open it using "Go to" menu item in Finder

We have a new version 2.14 that runs on OS X High Sierra. You can give it a try: https://catlight.io/downloads 

However, new version is not compatible with old versions of OS X like 10.11, 10.10 and 10.9.
