Manual refresh is implemented in 2.4.0 - now there is a small refresh button at the bottom of the dashboard.

Just an update - in version 2.2.5 we fixed a bug with UI not updating after restoring computer from sleep mode. It mostly affected laptop users. You can get latest version from https://catlight.io/downloads

We have Jenkins 1.6, use catlight on a Mac and yes, if I click 'Open dashboard' everything is also refreshed.

Currently we force-refresh CatLight by going to settings and saving it without making any changes.
This is needed quite often as CatLight appears to have old states all the time, sometimes even from hours back.

What type of build server do you use?

If the dashboard is outdated and you click on Catlight/open dashboard in the menu, will it show latest status?

It's just a small thing:

Often I can see that catlight isn't up to date. Starts of jobs, endings of jobs, even that jobs are in progress isn't shown in a normal time (compared to other tools). So it would be great to force an update. May be that relates only to jenkins. But that's annoying. :( So I would welcome such a button because it would give back some confidence in catlight.

If you would resolve the issue with the "delays" and the incorrect state of processes then it wouldn't be needed.

CatLight polls your server every minute to check the build status. You can change polling interval in edit menu/settings/advanced to get notification faster. However, this will increase the load on your build server. If many users poll it frequently, server could slow down.

Hi Marc, what is the use case for this feature? Can you tell a bit more about why you need this?
