AVG detects CatLight as a virus
I can add it as a exception, but all users might not understand how, and just give up.

Online version of AVG at VirusTotal reports this file as safe
Looks like the alert was generated by "cloud" version of this AV. Such systems can block files that are not popular enough among the users of that service.
Unfortunately, that means that almost all applications will get blocked unless they are from major vendors like Microsoft or Google. Recently, I've seen similar behavior from Symantec AV that blocked Git installer because it was not popular enough among Symantec users.
