new searches wipe previous selection

When searching for a job in jenkins, loading the search view wipes out all previous job selections.

our build server has hundreds of jobs to choose from and every time I search a new job it wipes out my previously selected jobs.

I just want to search a job name, select it, search a new job name, select that. Then save. This is impossible with the current search functionality (plus the "all" checkbox bug I reported separately).
